Hahnenkamm Race Week from 22nd January – 27th January 2013, Kitzbühel, Austria
The best ski athletes in the world gathered in Kitzbühel to celebrate the highlight of the World Cup calendar – the Hahnenkamm Race Week from 22 January to 27 January 2013 including the renowned Streif downhill.
STREIF! This little word is enough to give many skiers goose bumps. The “Streif” is considered the most spectacular and dangerous downhill in the world 80-meter jumps, 85-percent base slope and top speeds up to 140 km / h. The race does not allow any margin of error.
To celebrate the conclusion of the races a VIP party, “KitzRaceParty” was held, with the top act for this year Gloria Gaynor playing to the crowds.

SGM Has An Alpine Ball

Over 2,000 LB-100 360° strings line VIP Tent at World Ski Cup

A staggering 14,000 SGM LB-100 360° LED Balls — the largest deployment ever — recently combined to produce two giant circular overhead displays up in the Austrian Tyrol.
The occasion was the annual Kitzbuehel World Ski Cup — a major event in the Alpine ski calendar. Production company Light and Sound.at has been servicing the event every year since 2001 — providing reinforcement on the main stage in the mediaeval town centre, as well as the VIP tent.

A.Leda Wash K.10 is fitted with multicolor RGBW LEDs that produce a full range of vivid colors as well as excellent shades of white. It is also equipped with a motorised and fully controllable 14°-70°.
Each color of each LED may be controlled separately: this unique feature not only allows you to create an endless range of color variations, but also to use each LED of the array as a pixel in order to draw all kinds of graphic images that change dynamically both in shape and color.
